Class Athlete: “Where it is our privilege helping parents, teachers, and coaches raise good kids”
Class Athlete Inc. was founded by Roy Bova in 2008. Bova, a father and coach, was looking for a program that would help him instill proper work ethics and values in his daughter while rewarding her with healthy play, learning to be on a team and build confidence.
Thus the Class Athlete Philosophy was born.
The name “Class Athlete” is simple yet powerful. The Class has twofold meaning – do well in the classroom and give it your all, as well as being a classy and respectful person in everyday life. As a reward for doing well in the classroom and being a person that exhibits class, we provide positive and healthy athletic programs that allow for team play, sportsmanship and valuable life lessons.
Our philosophy develops both mind and body with the understanding that there are winners and losers in life. The program was designed to allow all children to be put in situations where they can succeed without the win-at-all-costs pressure.
Our Goal at Class Athlete is to provide a fun, healthy and competitive environment while teaching sports skills and life lessons.
The approach to our league has worked, as we’ve grown from 59 athletes in our first season to between 900-1000 each season for the past 18 months.
It has been a privilege to witness our philosophy have a positive impact on the youth in our community. We look forward to continuing to see you on the playing fields…….
